Visits

Well we went back to Wisconsin/Illinois for a month in May/June.We had a lot of stuff we did. First we got to go to Grandma Nell's birthday party and got to see all our friends and that was very nice even if it was a short visit.
Then there was Dasha's high school graduation and then her party. It was fun and proud of her. Then me,Dasha,Cassandra got to paint Grandma Alyce's(my mom) kitchen and we had a lot of fun painting. Then me and Dasha went with my dad (papa)to Gettysburg, Pa for Fathers day weekend. We had a lot of fun site signing and swimming in the pool at the hotel. While I was gone Cassandra got to stay with grandma Alyce and Katelyn had they had a lot of fun. It was our first time in four years to be apart and it was nice. Then we made it back home to daddy and our house. We had a nice trip but very long.

So today Cassandra was in her room supposed to be cleaning up all the little pieces of paper she cut up. But instead she decided she need a hair cut. Yes I said hair cut. She thought her bangs were getting to long (which they weren't)and she cut her sides because she wanted to have layers like Mommy has. She wanted to look like mommy. Well had first I lost it screaming what did you do to your hair blah blah (all that freak out stuff first) and she cried for about 10 minutes. Then we were ok and of course we took pictures and called people. So tomorrow we will be heading to the beauty salon to try to salvage her hair. Gotta love these days!

Cassandra is 4!

So last week Thursday Cassandra turned 4 (May 14th). She had a busy weekend of birthday celebrations. First at preschool they celebrated the last day of school and they celebrated her birthday and summer birthdays. Then Friday we had a birthday/playgroup party at our house with our Moms Club friends. We had about 9 moms and each one has at least 2 kids (you do the math)it looked like a tornado and a hurricane came through our house LOL. Then Saturday we had another birthday party with four of her friends. That one was nice and fun. When we go back home to WI/ILL we will have another small party with family for her.

Well Shawn finally presented his dissertation today and passed. So now he is officially a Professor of Mathematics. Hurray! I am so proud of him.
